Black Walnuts

At least I think that is what they are. I've been gathering them from a tree not far from my apartment building. Tonight I put on rubber gloves and took the hulls off. Despite the gloves my fingers are quite stained. If I do another batch I think I shall invest in some thicker gauge gloves. Right. One more step to be completed before I spread them out on an old cookie sheet and head to bed.
