I wish I had thought to go see this today. I didn't have to be in to work until noon today so I could have gone to see a matinee. Ah well. Maybe I could do one on Sunday. I have decided I do want to see this movie before the ending gets spoiled. Unfortunately I have to be in at 11am tomorrow and the first showing starts at 10:10, so that won't work. I'm likely to be out sometime after 9pm.

Really I feel that way about most movies. If there were some way for me to get movies recommended to me without knowing anything except, say, "upbeat adventure movie" or "cheezy monster flick" from someone I trusted I think that would be the ultimate experience. That is one good thing about books, they way they are marketed and recommended rarely gives away much about them until years after they are released.

In a little more than a month's time The Conference Board shall enact one of the most important rituals performed by any group active in the United States of America. For more than half a century they have read the entrails of finance for the Knights Templar (also known as The Illuminati and The True Masons), but this reading like all those in September of an election year is particularly important. You see for as long as they have performed this ritual without interference it has decided Who Shall be President for the next four years. If the reading is good and they pronounce that consumer confidence is above the 50 year average then the "side" in power shall retain it. If it is bad their president shall be put in a wicker cage and burnt to appease Alexander Hamilton, our slain god of commerce.
