I need to think up something nice to do for gentleman_lech since he was so kind as to link my poll in his journal. Like intervening with Asphaltia, Goddess of squatters, so he can find parking spots easily. Or maybe write a strange short story with The Tick, coffee, or pirates. Or all three. ThinkThinkThink.

Not a Plum Feeling

The other day I accidentally swallowed a plum pit. One moment I was sucking on the thing taking off the last bits of fruity goodness and the next it was sliding down my throat. Not good, but I figured that it wasn't so big and so would just pass in time. Yesterday evening I discovered the error of my assumption. It is moving all right, but very slowly and I can tell exactly where the uncomfortable (but not actively painful) thing is. Let my bad experience be a warning to the rest of you. Plum pits are just a little too large.
