In a little more than a month's time The Conference Board shall enact one of the most important rituals performed by any group active in the United States of America. For more than half a century they have read the entrails of finance for the Knights Templar (also known as The Illuminati and The True Masons), but this reading like all those in September of an election year is particularly important. You see for as long as they have performed this ritual without interference it has decided Who Shall be President for the next four years. If the reading is good and they pronounce that consumer confidence is above the 50 year average then the "side" in power shall retain it. If it is bad their president shall be put in a wicker cage and burnt to appease Alexander Hamilton, our slain god of commerce.

Oh by all means. I don't get freaked when people "friend" me.

My friend rmoorman dubbed the people who's journals one reads frelj so what he could stop saying things like real life friend. I use the term rather frequently myself. And frood for people I've met a few times in real life but aren't friends.

One other bit of information since you're new here. I try to index (http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memories.bml?user=mishalak) my posts about once a month or so. Just if you want to read back issues for some reason.
