The meeting was great fun this month, but it has been pointed out to me that maybe we'd have more of a crowd if met more than once a month. I don't know. On the one hand it would give more of an opportunity for guys (or gals) who can't do the second Saturday of the month. On the other maybe it would spread out the few members we do have if they only want to do one meeting a month.

So we hung out, had dinner at Seoul Food, and then came back to my place to watch Cronos. Unlike the last time I showed it to a bunch of friends this time the response was universally positive. Woo hoo! For once I'm not out of my mind in liking a movie. It was my college friends who didn't know a good movie.

Afterwards my poll and pictures got discussed. Speaking of which if anyone needs a full picture of what the heck I look like just ask. I'm going to have a website up with them at some point, but I need to get off my lazy ass and contact my ISP. After that it should be simple. Maybe. So my friend Paul is solidly against me getting nipple rings. He says I'm too thin and they would not look right on me. And that I’m cute already, etc. I sorta agree. Dunno what I’m going to do. Yet.

Very Fun

Good times to be had, and Cronos was a very sweet movie... not quite the usual slash & gore vampire movie :) I'd be willing to go to more than one meeting/month, schedule willing....

I did have a great time ... as always! It'd great fun to poke ... jab ... laugh ... and be what we are. Thanks for opening your home to the rest of us and enjoy the movies! And, yes, how can yo add to the perfection you already are? (God don't make junk ... He looked you over twice ... just to make sure!) When I can get the move done, I will return the favor; and, play host too. (But, being 'twixed and 'tween ... it will take time for closing, etc.)

I realised I'd be happy to see the picture you've been talking about (and possible after pictures, too), but I feel like I'm peeping.

OTOH, you do have a brief icon, so it's probably not a big deal to you...

Had a blast.

I had a great time last night , Cronos was wonderfully twisted and will deffinatly have to make an effort to make more of these meets in the future . Though , I didnt say that doing it more often would draw in more ppl , I said that I think that you should have an objective for the meets to get others more interested in them . Sort of like the sketch nights that we hold for local furs in the area . Its not just about drawing but it gets those that are interested in furry and art to come to the meets outta curiousity of what accually goes on there . * shrugs * Just a thought . I wont accually be here long enough to see any of it come together but would be nice to know if you start getting more to come there on a reg. basis .

I thought more meets was part of that too. Though you're right an objective would be good. So what would you think might draw people? Regular cult movies from my collection? Plus potluck food and drink? I know my place is small, but I don't know who else we could get to host that would be more central and larger. I'm going to ask this and other questions on the Outer Fandom list as well as here.

Maybe if we had more than one meeting we could mix it up. Have a regular meeting for coffee/talk and also a movie night?

Manitou Springs

I'm not too sure if Manitou Springs is to far away. We have a very nice coffee shop called The Spice of life owned by Mike and Doug. The have some really good food and desserts to go with coffee and can tell you everything going on around town that you all might be interested in. You might just want to go in there and meet them anyway the some of the most intellagent gay guys I've ever met.(This is in refrance to your past post.)
