It has been unusually warm here for November, but day by day the nip in the air has come more often and my new apple trees are shedding their leaves at long last. So my thoughts have turned to seasonal decorations and preparing for winter revels. There will be sugarplums once again because I have found that I have a taste for them and they are very easy to make. My house progresses towards clean and I have every hope that by December 1st I can have guests over without any shame and share of my cider and mead. And best of all, now that I am out of my slump and sloth, I am renewing the bonds of friendship and correspondence with all the people I had let slip away from me. Not to mention all the new friends I am making in renewing the local SF club's actives in going out to bars, coffeehouses, and having pizza nights. The DASFA Vice Squad is one of the best ideas I ever got started on.
