Oh and I'm surprised that James Nicoll has not put this on his journal yet. Orson Scott Card is up for Daily Dish's Malkin Award for "shrill, hyperbolic, divisive and intemperate right-wing rhetoric. A[--] C[------] is ineligible -- to give others a chance." He is nominated alongside such luminaries as Ben Stein who, as of this post, is leading the pack.

His nomination of P. Z. Myers for an "award" reminds me that Sullivan and I hail from different universes.

That Stein fellow sure seems to be a great guy too. I can see it is hard to choose.

My gaydar tells me that Orson Scott Card is so very much one of those homophobes that is deeply in the closet and must rail against fellow gays endlessly in order to defer suspicion from himself.
