Of Disappearing Bees

Well there are answers in the disappearance of bees, at last. The BBC reports that a virus has been implicated. This is bad news because it is not nearly as easy to deal with as something like a new pesticide would be. Viruses cannot be banned. And it isn't as if human based anti-viral medicines would work in bees. So the bee keepers are going to have to just work to keep their hives as healthy as they can until such time as nature takes its course and the bees gain a bit of resistance to the new disease. *sigh*
