The Invitation

mishalakThis Saturday there will be a DASFA Alternate Party at my parent's house in Elizabeth, CO. I've jokingly called this convention 0, though it won't be anything like the eventual Colorado Genre Fiction Holiday (if it happens next year). Well it will be somewhat like it in that there will be tea (possibly a taste test of tea if people are interested in doing that), some kielbasa/sausage, some beer, and some whiskey.
As always with DASFA events you should bring one or two items depending upon what you like to eat or drink. If you like beer, bring a six pack of something you like to drink to be sure that I won't run out. If you like to eat chicken you could bring three chicken breasts or if you like salad you could bring a big head of lettuce. You don't need to bring things like you're feeding the whole group yourself, everyone else will be bringing something as well.
Tomorrow I'll be filling up the gas canister for the barbecue (I know, I know smoke is better, but I don't have that type and that's work as well) so that there can be grilling of things. I'm not sure what else I should have on tap, though I will be sure that the hottub is ready to go should anyone wish to make use of it.

Starts at Noon on Saturday, May 5th and goes until people head home or midnight.
Some crash space available. Hide-a-bed, spare room, floorspace in basement.
Carpools from Denver are being organized, I've no idea about Colorado Springs.
Food: Salad, carrot soup, and sausage.
Soft Drinks: Tea, Iced Tea, and Herbal Iced Tea.
Beer: Various sorts I have on hand. Avery, Unibrew, Left Hand Brewing, etc. I think I have 12 bottles from various companies right now. Stout, ale, barley wine, etc.
Liquor: Cranberry vodka, Shishikov, Whiskey, and plain vodka with mixers.
