Semi random thought. Is there anyone on livejournal that I ought to know that isn't on my friends list yet? I know I've got a lot of people on there, 86 total. (Wow.) I'm just was looking at the map thing the other day and thinking things like "Wow, I know more people in Minnesota than Colorado," and "I thought I knew more people in the UK than that." So partially because I'm a scheming fan who is looking to win TAFF and partially because I just like people. So who would introduce me to?

I think I would be overloaded by all this if everyone did like me and posted something everyday. I'll have to host a party to encourage some of the locals to do so. How's the weekend after this one sound? Party anyone?

I was wondering how you and others kept up with a friends list with more than just a few people on it, and now I find out the shocking truth that many people don't post every day.

Hurm. There ought to be some way in livejournal to get it to post things while you are away. Like future date things and not have it appear until that time. That would be useful for me in posting my little stories when I don't have time due to work. I'll have to suggest it.

Well, if they got the phone post thingie to work outside the bloody US, I could use that. But I really rather not call international calls on my mobile, thank you.

I'm getting a Palm and a keyboard, so I can write entries while away and post them bit by bit when I come home.

Well you didn't go through the procedure, so I can't friend you back... Who am I kidding? Fwends! When I'm deeply in need of something to read I could either just start reading some of the 100 books that I have not read of the 2000 books in my modest collection. Or I'll pick someone and start reading from the beginning of 'es journal.

Yes there's a procedure! You have to be properly introduced or else have the right forms. Having correct paperwork is very important, otherwise we'd have chaos. Mustn't let anyone do anything without the proper forms or procedure. <Hums the theme from Brazil>

Yeah but that just adds to the mountain of paperwork and I'm sure I'll just get lost in red tape for at least three months and some lazy pencil pusher will probably end up resting his morning coffee on my form and leave that unsightly ring on it. No I think the direct approach is best. I've had no complaints so far :)
