I have not either. But I've read some gay S&M that was about that bad. Not having to read Gor is a good thing. Friends don't let friends read Gor!!

(I once worked in a bookstore and had a big shouting argument with the manager, who felt that Norman's books should be stocked in the SF section rather than the Erotica section. /boggles/)

We had a Darkfriend Social here last April, and KJ read it out aloud. (That was an experience.) Some days later, I mentioned it to two friends, cerebrate and ceara. Ceara commented that she had heard about it twice already (from Cerebrate and from turnberryknkn, who had heard it from Cerebrate).

I've since bought a Gor book.

The first one or two *are* SF.

After that, it gets... um. Yeah.

I own two. One's an all-right SF story. The other one, I want to shoot. And I'm an advocate of not destroying books.

Wait a second here, you're new 'round these parts! Welcome. I'm against destroying books too, but I always end up throwing out L. Ron Hubbard books from the DASFA book box after a year. No one buys them.
