Since this is a second weekend there is no DASFA meeting for me. Also my boyfriend is out of town for quite some time to come and so I cannot do "the usual" of hanging out with him. (I miss him.) So this is me planning out loud on what I should do this weekend. I'm thinking inexpensive fun like watching a movie from the library at someone's home. Or else spending the whole weekend trying to recruit people who like to do parties and socialize over beverages. (tea, coffee, tisane, beer, whiskey)

Saturday I'm going to hopefully wrapping up the project from hell, but might be up to doing something quiet in the evening.

I'll be by in the afternoon on Friday to help. I think I can come back on Saturday to do something quiet. Let me know if I should drop by the library to pick up something.

We really appreciate the help. :)

I don't know - it probably wouldn't hurt to pick up something, but on the other hand I haven't really watched a DVD for a month or two due to said project from hell, so I know I've got a ton of stuff laying aroudn I haven't watched. :)

This will probably sound silly, but [livejournal.com profile] agrathea and myself have spent most of our relationship apart. One thing we did (and still do) was to go to a movie together. After picking a movie we both wanted to see we would scan the cinemas around us and find two shows with similar start times. Then we'd talk on the phone before the movie, but mostly it gave us something to share and chat about afterwards. And it can suck to hear about a movie from the one you love, that you have not seen. Not ideal, but we still enjoyed it.

Well I'm going to the
Georgetown bighorn sheep festival
on Saturday, 'cos I've hardly looked round Georgetown at all. Fancy that? I could go back to Denver afterwards, but early, as I don't want to hang around once its dark.

Sunday, I'll go for a walk, as I always do when I've nothing else planned.

BTW, do you ski badly? I'm looking for someone to accompany me later in the year after I've tried an initial lesson. I expect I'll be awful.

Friday Night...

Several of the kiddies from CSM are doing a movie night, mostly gay flicks, but with a bunch of geeks :) (it also happens to be mental-sanity-day for me, so no work)
