Well we have heat in the building, but my gas has been shut off due to leaky valves on my stove or some such. I'm not going to be able to cook anything except in my crockpot or electric skillet. Not the end of the world, but I'm mildly frustrated.

Yeah. It's terribly useful for making things like tapioca pudding.

Well yes... But if I just think ahead the time factor is a good thing. Get up early (ick) and put on food so I can have supper when I get home. But I didn't know about the problem last night until I got home, so I as not prepared and had to dine on pita bread and canned salmon. Which isn't bad, but it was not what I wanted right then.

Think of it as a exercise in creativity or, y'know, have soup on toasted cheese sandwiches. :-)

Hmm... Soup.

Still no cooking heat? I hope your landlords are doing something, but given Colorado's complete lack of renter rights, I'm not sanguine. So it's Thursday ... wanna come over for dinner tonight? BTW, what's our November program status for DASFA?

I have been unable to contact anyone else as of yet because I only got your message when I got home yesterday. So I guess we don't have a reading unless I find something today.

Dinner tonight is planed to be a me and Jane thang. She suggested I make cheese soup, and I'm always up for trying new things.
