Just a short update tonight. I'm wondering if The League of the Extraordinary Gentlemen is the best choice for Saturday. I'm going to put out the question to the rest of my friends via email tonight. I think I'll put up a poll tomorrow to see if we might rather go to Pirates of the Caribbean.

Food today. I had a bagel for breakfast with lots of olive oil. Lunch was ramen again with a dessert of cherries. Dinner was the other half of that block of tofu with some feta cheese, olive oil, and garlic. Not bad. Also a brownie and a Bloody William, my favorite mixed drink. I'm also going to finish off some milk I opened for Rhonda so she could have tea.

Oh and on that subject I forgot that Eric came by for the Ice Cream party. I enjoyed having him here and I don't know why I left him out of the (boring) list of who came to it.

I haven't seen either movie yet but judging solely from the previews, I'd have to say League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
Mostly I wanted to let you know that I made your Mole Chili (http://www.livejournal.com/users/mishalak/4604.html) for a party Saturday night, giving you full credit, and it was a big hit. I tripled your recipe and, along with appetizer plates, it made sufficient for about 15 people. I used about 3 times the tabasco you called for, because I like my food spicy, but other than that followed your recipe to the letter. People loved it. Thanks for the recipe.

Woo hoo! Credit wasn't necessary, but thanks. I always love it when other people help to spread my reputation. <grin> I'll have to post my recipe for Chicken Paprikash next.

I'm just a bit worried about LXG because the previews that I've seen so far make it seem like a Sean Conery centered vehicle. That could be good or bad... Meanwhile Pirates of the Caribbean has both Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp. Mmmm eye candy. So I'm going to do a poll today and send an email to everyone who might be going telling to get over here and vote! I can do that since I shelled out the big bucks for a paid account.
