On the Matter of Dinner
Jul. 6th, 2003 08:34 pmDinner today. Half of a 19oz. block of tofu cut up into pieces and fried in olive oil with two carrots and a tablespoon of chopped garlic. Then I added some of the left over champagne. Along with this I had two spinach salads with a feta and tomato sort of a dressing I made up myself. Total cost I'd estimate at about $2. 1/3 to 1/2 of a 99¢ bunch of spinach, 50¢ of feta cheese, left over tomato sauce at free from a party, 60¢ of tofu and a similar amount for the olive oil, carrots, and garlic. Maybe the cost could be as high as $3. But since the champagne was a gift this was not exactly an expensive meal. And if I had not had champagne I would have just used a little soy sauce or something. Oh and a brownie from Rhonda.
Dinner is good.
