I liked these two... I really hit my stride last night. I don't know if [livejournal.com profile] gomeza and [livejournal.com profile] rmoorman liked them as much as I did. And if they didn't like it.. well they should have spoken up when I posted them where I started this whole gods thing. <grin>

Gomezcaline
God (or Patron Saint when he's going incognito among Catholics) of Garage Experimenters, Mad Scientists, and Magnetic Fields. In his own words (sort of):
Powers: Oh I usually send out inspiration, nothing super flashy. Though if I show up in person it's a lot of fun to ride the lines of force, it can cause some spectacular effects in nearby metal objects.
Weakness(es): Now don't get me wrong, light is great stuff, but there is a limit. Don't be trying to call upon me in broad daylight or under klieg lights, I'm more likely to be up at night. I view single malt scotch most favorably when it comes to sacrifices, though in a pinch anything hard will do. But don't pour it out on the ground, that's a domovoi thing, I take mine in a glass.
Sacred Animal: Donerkine, they're a sort of living electrical storm that are mistaken for ball lightning by mortals.
Feast Day: The 3rd Tuesday in May
Weapon: It's far too easy for a god of magnetic fields to get a serious jolt of electricity going, I don't limit myself to unhip smitings like just flinging a lightning bolt off at someone. I'll take some time to come up with something new every... Damn it this is taking too long, I'll just smite him with a lightning bolt!

Urethane
God (or Patron Saint when he's being tactful around Episcopalians) of Eccentric Bureaucrats, Buskers, and Cartomancy. In his own words (sort of):
Powers: It is most useful to call on me when you need the cunning to fool superiors, the courage to do something silly in front of an audience, or just need some help with card reading.
Weakness(es): Clear paperwork is deadly to my powers, I need unclear, smudged, and lost orders to work my magic. Pizza is the sort of thing that is helpful to my ductwork.
Sacred Animal: The Mouse! Sometimes they roar and they are the sort of clever creature that is anathema to the serious sort of official.
Feast Day: The 4th Sunday of February
Weapon: A Very Sharp Ax, just the thing for doing battle with the undead in the records stacks.
