Almost a Review: King Kong

Two thumbs down from me. I am so glad I skipped this film in the theaters it had everything wrong with it that I hated about Return of the King and then some. Long pointless boring (to me) action sequences, an excess of "gee looket our neat big screen computer game", and the addition of deeply stupid characters (especially the stupid wildlife). A lot of the film was pretty to look at, but I doubt I ever could again.

And let me reiterate that I hate having characters killed off by creepy crawlies in painful ways with no particular point. If I wanted to watch that sort of crap I'd go watch Saw or Anaconda.

Tammy totally agrees with you. I think the movie would be good with an hour, or an hour and a half cut out... ah, well.
