Meta Journal Entry
Mar. 27th, 2006 10:47 pmThere are apparently new people reading my journal, as well as many people who have been reading it for a long time, and some others who may no longer be reading it (but don't want to quit being part of the list because they want to be nice). I try to be interesting, not so much for the sake of my readers, but so that when I go back and read my journal to remind myself of my own history that I'll be interested. I read other people's journals because I want to get to know them better, because they have thoughts that interest me, and because some are friends.
I am curious as to what people think though, not that I'm going to change my writing style here since this is my personal history written to myself, but I would be interested to know why I've been added if I was recently or else why people are or are not reading my journal now. I know some may have started reading me because I added them because I'm interested in my fellow gay geeks in Denver. Though perhaps they are not reading this journal and they only added to be polite. Plus there are people who've yet to add to my reading list for a variety of reasons. So I'd dearly love to hear from you about what I've just written about, in part or whole. Do you find my journal less interesting than in the past? (Maybe I should have right direction/wrong direction poll like the leader of a country. <heh>) I myself think I need to get back in the habit of writing more about what I am doing and less stuff about icons or what I plan to do on the weekend.

It could be because you have a larger support network there, or maybe you just feel more at home there and are happier as a result. So if you had posted a "right direction"/"wrong direction" poll, my vote would be firmly in the "right direction" category.
