I'm not happy with it. And it was so much trouble to hang myself upside down and take a picture. Grrrr.

It looks a bit blurry around your eyes, which is probably the glasses. Maybe a different background, something with more color (not lots of colors).

The background was being difficult. I let my cape thingy hang down because it was better than seeing the bars and such of the thing I was hanging myself from. Maybe if I find some sheets...

I think it might be that the color is almost at the same line as your glasses.
The color looks ok though.

I don't really think it is in the cards to go to minicon. I mean what with being unemployed and all.

I didn't recognize you at first you look so different. What were you hanging upside down on and did you use the timer on your camera? I think this would be a time consuming endevour, but if you get the right shot that you are happy with, it would be worth it.

Timer and a thingy to hang myself upside down from. It was not easy and really I ought to get a remote trigger, it would make this sort of thing so much easier. Well only a bit since they don't sell a wireless remote trigger. Bah, bah.

Ahhh a perfect example of a need for "the clapper" if there ever was one! :-D

I think they do make IR remote triggers depending on your camera of course.

I did check with Sony on this. They make a wired remote trigger for long exposures I guess, but not a IR remote.

I looked at it with my laptop folded all the way open, and I can say that it actually looks pretty cool inverted -- kind of Max Headroom Meets Puck.

Good to know... Maybe that will be a clue of where to go with my camera next. More fey look pictures. I wonder what around here would look otherworldly. Either that or black and white just out of the shower, like this icon (http://www.livejournal.com/userpic/25679970/998902)

I liked the streamer-ribbon background on the upside-down one for that, too. It echoed the hair motion.

Yes, I'm a little artsy; I'm the daughter and granddaughter of professional photographers (and a disappointment to my mom, though I have a 'better eye' than most, she says). :->

That's the long coat hanging down. I thought it would look neat. Eh. Trouble is that even though it is grey, it is also velvet and so makes light disappear. And that the pose is hard and I have to tigger the camera myself etc...
