Dream Log: Robberies and Dogs
Jan. 28th, 2006 08:43 amI was home. Not in the sense of being back in Colorado, but home in the house where I grew up. My family was there and when we went outside we found this very unhelpful police officers saying a car had been broken into. It was full of books that I had gathered, but it was my mom's car. I checked to see if any of the books were missing, and they did not seem to be. Apparently the thief had looked at them and decided that they were worthless. Probably not a bad assumption, they were mostly reading copy paperbacks with a few old "classics" that were probably not worth much.
Out to the barn where another vehicle had been broken into, this one an old '30s style truck. Mum dealt with this one, I really did not like this police officer type. He appeared to be more interested in possibly latching onto something for himself than actually investigating a crime.
At some point the dream changed and I do not know how. Perhaps I started watching a movie. It was about dogs trying to rebel against humans. It was strange and funny. At one point it is suggested that they "whistle while they work" to get money to fund the rebellion. It seemed to be on about the same level as The Truth about Cats and Dogs.
