Plans Without Perfection
Nov. 14th, 2005 11:12 amOkay I am once again setting out to improve my life, and trying to remind myself that I do not have to behave perfectly in order to improve. So I am going to return to doing sit ups, pushups, and being social. Hopefully this will be without the overblown expectations that I had earlier of my various schemes and socializing. And you my faithful audience will get to watch, so to speak, since I’ll be chronicling what I do for later analysis.
Today I am packing up clothes for the trip back to San Francisco. I will be getting in about 7:30pm at San Francisco International Airport. A short jaunt home, with possibly a stop at World Sausage on Market Street at Church, for a dinner I do not have to cook.
Tomorrow it will be work as usual with me putting out various fires and getting various backburner projects done. Since I will not be crazed at work and since I will get out at 5:30pm every day this week I plan on socializing after work at least two days (without the expectation that I will necessarily meet anyone, just going out to dance/chat), do useful work at home one day, and spend some time online chatting one day. Friday seems like it might be a better day for socialization than other things. I cannot really expect to be in the mood to work as soon as I get home tonight, but if I can that would be good. SO I’ll try to get a fair amount done when I get in, like putting away or washing clothes that I have brought back from Colorado. That leaves tomorrow night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night somewhat unplanned. I should ask Calvin if he wants to hang out one of those days. I think I will try to go dancing at The Café (on Market) or check out the gay bar on Haight on Tuesday. Other than that no plans yet.
Speak here or via email if you have a suggestion.
