Good Times Were Had By All
Aug. 27th, 2005 10:24 amSo I actually had a good time out at the bars last night (despite losing the $14 in my pocket, I didn't lose my credit card or ID so it was no big deal). Met interesting people including a guy off Craigslist I might go fishing with, and not that's not an euphemism for something else. I was just intent on meeting friends last night and I managed to meet a guy into Star Trek (spotted him by the shirt) who was totally hot, his name is Calvin. Also met a dyke (her word) who loves hard science fiction by the name of Trace. Mostly this took place at The Bar on Castro, though Calvin and I did go to Osaka Sushi for a bite and then to the gellato place across the street. Both were good, though Osaka Sushi was not the transcendent experience I've had at some Denver sushi places.
This morning I'm very happy with myself. Twenty push-ups, twenty half-push-ups, and one-hundred sit-ups. Something in this city must make gay men want to exercise. Tomorrow Samovar (18th and Sanchez) for brunch at about 11 (with expectation that people will drift in to 11:30), then off to the woods. Or at least that is the plan. I'll see if anyone shows up and changes them.
Oh and my friend Shaenon needs an artist. She's losing the current artist doing one of her comics so if there are any budding cartoonists (or whatever you want to call yourself) reading this page go check it out!
