So there was some sort of special on television. They were returning the body of some king that had died years and years ago after being captured by someone or other in a war and ending up dead. There was this black caisson and big black coffin set up being pulled by four horses along a road in rolling green English countryside. I talked to Sue Mason on the phone about it being especially sad since he had this lover back home that he couldn't send letters to for fear of being found out as a homosexual.

When I'd finished watching and talking about the sad fate of King Edric who died in the far off south Atlantic I went out for some exercise. Apparently I was living in the mountains west of Denver and I went canoeing down the stream, often portaging over to little oxbow ponds to get in practice. And from there is gets rather confused. I had to get out and go up some rather doubtful looking stairs. When I barely made it to the top I discovered a sign saying they had been damaged in the recent earthquake and people should keep off. I was rather glad I'd not gotten in trouble being on them or having them collapse into a heap of lumber.

And then I awoke.

Lucky you. In the last dream I had, one of those crazy viral zombie movies, like 28 Days Later or something along those lines, had come true, and I was part of it.

I always find it interesting how a person can feel actual peril in a dream.

After a while, I woke up, and feel back asleep, but it turned into one of those lucid dream deals. Ah, I had some fun with that dream, haha. I think I actually had myself get infected, so I could become a zombie. Crazy, creepy, and fun all at the same time!
