Entering a Social Phase

"Oh dread and terror," the long time Mishalak watchers say. For he is now thinking he can be social again and is adding in all the local people who watch his journal into a group so he can find out what people are doing and pester them. And tonight I go to town, again so that I might see Batman Begins. Do the dance of joy Mishalak!

Batman Begins doesn't start 'til the 15th ... did you get passes to a special screening or something?

If I'd known ahead of time I'd have given you my pass. I didn't enjoy myself. I didn't hate the movie, but I didn't enjoy myself.

Tis good to hear that you didn't hate the movie. That shows positive signs for me enjoying it. It's got three things going for it (for me), I'm a long-time fan of Christian Bale's (though there's a part of me that keeps going "But he's not old enough to be Batman"), I'm a long-time fan of Katie Holmes', and I'm a long-time fan of the darker Batman movies (I hated the last two with a passion ... they were just too cheesy).

Give me Batman dark and forboding, leave the cheese at home, please. There is a reason he's referred to in comics as the Dark Knight.
