So far this day I have cooked a turkey, cleaned a sink full of dishes, reorganized a cupboard to get more stuff into it, washed the cooler the turkey was thawed in, and worked on my garden plan. Now if I can just get outside while it is warm and nice I will call this day a success even if I get nothing else done.

Library Design Called World's Largest Bookcase

The new library in Spijkenisse is quite unusual. From the BBC video it looks like it could be mildly impractical, but it is a very beautiful space for books and reading. It has repeatedly been called a book mountain by commentators; my own take is that it looks like a book ziggurat.
