I love the smell of a open wood fire. I would like a cologne that smelled of it, but I suppose that that would be a near much unique preference born of fond camping memories. It makes me think of simple food eaten after days spent in activities like hiking, chopping wood, fishing, and otherwise spending time under the sun in physical enjoyment. They were some great meals for all their plainness and along with long times spent stirring the fires getting my hair and coat full of the warm smell.

So now I'm sitting here with the scent of wood smoke curling around me from the fire barrel. The party at Owl House was very nice for me, though now my throat feels its hard use. My cake was good, though next time I might actually put in a bit more nutmeg. The champagne I had was nice, though I ended up drinking more of the bottle than I intended. Plus a stout, a whisky, and an amaretto sour it was a quite alcohol soaked evening. But I didn't over do it and I was well sober by three in the morning when I finally left.

I got to wear my cool jeans with leather flames on them and a super comfortable tee-shirt. Flirted with guys, chatted with lots of people, ate great food, and all around had a grand time.

Oh by the way, the Unitarian Jihad is showing up as a subject of conversation beyond the internet and there was some discussion of our names.

The snow grows ever deeper outside, but I don't mind. I don't have anywhere to go so I sit here warm with tea watching the blizzard. I have not even gone outside on the deck like I do sometimes. I stand by a window pulling back the rough curtain. Fine flakes sift down upon ever growing piles besides slick streets. After standing a long moment I turn away, I hear my water boiling, time for another cup with wisps of mist curling off a cup.

People spend a lot of time in cars they even get sunburns on long trips. Car interiors get a lot of damage form ultraviolet light as well, so why don't they put ultraviolet coatings on car windows?
