Newish Comics
Apr. 13th, 2005 11:44 amMorgan in the Morning- This comic is about yaoi girls trying to turn straight friends gay so they can watch that hot guy on guy action. It makes no sense and has about 50 characters, but non the less I find it funny. Updates irregularly.
Fruit Files- The same as above except it's now on hiatus and didn't have as many character running in and out to confuse me. It also was running a funny ring parody.
Two Lumps- It's about two cats doing cat like things. It could totally be in a paper because it doesn't have humor that the general petition writing public would object to. Unlike so many of the comics I read.
Get Medieval- Great art, gently funny story about aliens (who look human) ending up in France in the late 1300s. (On the basis of knowing too much about history I'd peg it as about 1370.) It's also unique for being published in a livejournal.
Arcana- Beautifully drawn supernatural drama in the magna tradition of these things. Unfortunately it ends halfway through the story. *sigh* Well what do we expect for free on the web?
For the Love of Yaoi- Are you seeing a pattern in the comics I end up reading? What can I say, I like it when I can read stories about guys like me. Except that they're on D&D style adventures. This one also went on hiatus earlier this year. Drat.
Errant Story- I only read this one every two months or so. It is updated fairly regularly, but the D&D story (without gay guys) moves along at a pace that I can't stand to read just one new page every week.

Date: 2005-04-13 06:26 pm (UTC)Get Medieval looks interesting, from a quick look. Ditto Arcana. Morgan in the Morning looks too complicated to get without reading back a lot, and with a lousy dial-up that might not happen here.

Date: 2005-04-29 05:15 pm (UTC)I think we all wanted Raito killed. I was somewhat glad about the break, because I don't know if I would have wanted to keep reading at first, either. You just finished it, right?
I really like one of the kids in Chapter 59, Nero/Near (romanization is unclear, just like with Raito/Light). I think the interaction between him, Mello and Light might just make up for losing L. I can let you know, if you'd like.
DN Yaoi (http://s22.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1MWGY6TAHW40E0BIOHE3PH8SP6), as promised. (http://s24.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0JERU1GLY7K5O2E4RIGF8RS6WG)
