Brilliant Idea
Oct. 3rd, 2004 02:11 pmNo, really honest this is totally brilliant. Answering machines should come with a clock or else some sort of input jack to activate an alternate mode. The input jack could be hooked up to a piezoelectric type device under a bed leg to sense if there were anyone in bed. Or you could just set the clock that between such and such times the answering machine would give a message like, "If this is an emergency press "1" now to ring through, otherwise leave a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can." And while in the mood the phone would not audibly ring in the house.
Now if I was a engineer I would build it and sell it.
Now I'm going to get ready for tea, reminder type thing to local people. If you want to see what I'm planning on doing or announcements of things like tea read
teaorists. Also if you have something brill going on the Denver area don't hesitate to announce it there.
