Coyote

I ran out to my car to check if my wallet was there but I later found it right where it should be. Anyway on my way back a coyote (or else a very large scruffy grey fox) was running the other direction. It seemed strange to see such an animal of that sort within three feet of yourself.

Wow. I'd be very startled to find myself so close to a coyote. I've been hearing that they are getting bolder about coming into human-inhabited areas lately.
