"Oh come on, Rob, that's your answer to everything. Vampire that can come back from getting blood on his ashes? Dump him in the Challenger Deep inside a bound coffin. Cursed item that kills whoever breaks it? Pack it in areogel inside a steel canister and drop it in the Mariana Trench. Come on! You're just running away from problems. The customs guys in Guam practically know us by name and we even have a favorite boat to rent for the 250-mile journey out to the deepest spot in the oceans. Can't you come up with a new solution?"

"But have any of us died from my solution yet?"

36 Hours Later...
"Okay I'm reading 10900 meters deep more or less, ready to dump it Loren?"

"Just make sure we're not in the absolutely same position where we dumped the vampire, it would be bogus-ironic to let him lose by dumping another supernatural beastie down there."

I don't know that I could be funny for the length of a whole story. I might try though. Have it jump to 4 hours later at the airport rather than right to the ocean.
