Is it just me or is PBS putting on too much Antiques Road Show? Not to mention all the other ones they have created. Last I looked there were three other programs on antiques. And sometimes they seem to put them on all at once. And they now have commercials on. Sponsor messages my ass, those are the same commercials as on regular TV. It seems like PBS is becoming just another reality TV network without real programming.

Less ranty I have two new icons. My new default and one of me in my new favorite sweater. The quality of light is really good in both of the pictures. I didn't do any saturation or hue changes.

It's PBS need I say more? I know of it through reputation alone and that's enough to make me cynical about it. Oh and I like the new default one ... very sexy ... reminds me alot of one of my real life friends. He's a sexy bitch and he knows it, the guy just doesn't take a bad picture ever. I'm a little less thrilled with the sweater one though but you still look cute.

I suppose I could try to re-take the one of me in my sweater and then replace it. So what specifically would you change to make it look better? Better hairstyle? (That's the thing I liked least about it.) Different background?

lighting ... the shadow obscures your face a little too much for my liking

You are certainly a man of many hairstyles!
(And so cute, too. :))

I like changing my hairstyle ... and clothes. At conventions I often change three times a day. It certainly seems to entertain the other attendees. And thank you!

We used to call the History Channel "the Hitler Channel", 'cause they always re-ran WWII every week. PBS is "the antiques channel" in more ways than one. Does anyone under 60 actually watch it?

Nice icons. Good photos.

Oh well I used to watch it a lot more. But it seems like PBS is going more and more towards a sort of lowest common denominator and I am finding less of what they put on interesting. Maybe it is me changing, or maybe I've seen so many episodes of NOVA & Nature that it just seems like they are all repeats, but whatever the reason I've become less enchanted. Especially when they put on the pseudo scientists, historical dialectic programs, and other junk during pledge time. Agg! I mean repeating the lies of these modern day snake oil salesmen and the crazed earth mother wicca who believe in the Christian holocaust of the pagans.

I'll still watch Frontline and the occasional other thing -- f'rinstance I caught the new Soundstage with Lyle Lovett, Randy Newman, & Mark Isham.
