Untitled Blue Quartz

So I fixed my first blue quartz necklace. I still need to come up with a name for it. I am sure that something will come to me in time.

So about these pictures… I put on the same black velvet shirt each morning to take them. I am wondering if it is the best thing to wear when taking them. The colors are a little off and I am still figuring out what to do about that. Next time I should take the photos earlier when there is full, rather than indirect sun, in my porch. As usual the image is under the cut and I posted the photo to tumblr (because that is so darn easy).

Tammy used to have some jewelry display items, I don't know if she still has them. You might be able to borrow one for taking pictures with.

If she is not using it I would be perfectly pleased to borrow it. Thanks for letting me know. I am going to try some other shirts over the next few days and I will be eager to hear what you think.

These are beautiful. Are you making them to sell, or just to wear? Either way, they are gorgeous!

I have never sold any of my necklaces. I have given of my creations as gifts, but I just never really considered selling because I am somewhat extravagant in my use of materials and the price I would have to charge would be ridiculously high. Also, being a perfectionist I would want to tear the necklace apart to make it fit exactly right for the person wearing it. I usually restring the average necklace I make three times to get it to fit exactly right with my funky collarbones.

From a friend over on Livejournal I might have a name for this one. Blue Ice Falls.
