Well this is a bit sad. It isn't really surprising, since how much demand would there be for such a thing, but there do not seem to be any recordings of Fred Rogers singing his songs without the background noises of the set. He probably never went into a studio to record them since they were just intended for the show. While not the greatest music every played I would have liked to have a few of them since some of them expressed a gentle happiness that appeals to me. Unlike the excessively saccharine songs of other shows from my childhood they're still a bit interesting with their jazz like rhythms.
