Taking Out the Bits

Six year ago, almost exactly six years ago, I got pierced. A few days ago I started thinking that it was time for a change. I'm almost 33 years old after all and I think that calls for a different look than when I was almost 27. Plus they're no longer as much fun as when I first got them. So this morning I took them out and that's the end of that. Sort of an end with a whimper though. Rather like this journal. Looking back six years ago I had a lot more people who commented on my journal and I followed in turn.

Still, having a journal is still useful for me even if hardly anyone I used to follow is still around. And I think I'm a much nicer and happier person now than I was then even though I'm less social.
