Maybe WE should present it to congress if they don't feel up to it in the end. I'm thinking some media attention of this attempted -- and failing -- tactic of standard special-interest groups to intentionally mislead out-of-touch politicians -- and as a result affect the freedoms of people to lead their lives outside of dogmatic control -- could turn it into a very fun development if hyped.
It's opportunities like this that offer the chance to use reactionary media against the self-interested groups who usually dictate the same media's direction on human rights.
Big o'poll by conservative group on their website. When they put it up they probably thought only other conservative types would vote. They were going to present their highly dubious results to congress so a whole buncha queers and froods went and voted for the other options. Present that! Ha! <grin>
