The one you linked does used star anise, eight of them. So that is a higher ratio to the tea I used, but she is using a lot more water than I did. Possibly due to the longer steeping time. Or because mine is very strong and then the tepid liquid is poured over ice with the expectation that it will melt a lot of the ice and be thinned down. Or maybe I'm making it too strong.
