Supper Experiments: Tofu Soup
Jun. 17th, 2004 11:36 pmVery inexpensive supper. Take one can of chicken stock (purchased at Costco a long time ago for about 65¢) and add to it 3/4 that amount of water. Heat on the stove as you cut up one bunch of green onion (Sunflower Marker, 50¢) and one package silken tofu (Sunflower Market, 99¢). Finally add two or three allspice and some nori. Total cost just over $2.00, not bad. Any suggestions on a name? I was thinking Cazamir's Tofu Soup or else Polish Tofu Soup.
