Afternoon Tea

I think that having tea some afternoon with a bunch of livejournal people would be a lot of fun. I could set up my card table on the back porch and then we could have tea with a bit more quality than could be achieved at a coffeehouse. I don't mean that I have any particularly fancy tea sets, but the tea at a coffeehouse leaves something to be desired. I think it would be better to have out my big black teapot and homemade biscuits (look at the Britishism I just used!).

Okay my suggested where is out there. Who's interested? And what afternoon would work out best for you if you're near enough to Littleton to do this?

I'm too far away, but several people I know here do similar things and enjoy it. The at-home setting gives a good relaxed setting and seems to encourage talking and wandering about the yard. Low pressure, it's not like you're taking up tables that others are waiting for.

I mean, I would like to come. The best afternoons for me would be Wednesday or Saturday. With enough notice, I can probably switch my schedule for any other day.

Perhaps this Saturday or next Wedneday. This Wednesday is entirely too soon given the state of my apartment.

I can't do this Saturday. I'll be with friends in the morning, then seeing my dad in the afternoon for Father's Day because I work on Sunday.

That's cool. So next week Wednesday or next week Saturday? I don't have anything planned for either day. If it was Wednesday I'll be home around 4pm, which is actually tea time. Saturday the 26th I have nothing planned so we could have it a bit earlier if that worked out.

Does either date work better for you?

Depending on the time ... Wednesday evening works well and Saturday early afternoon works well ... but Saturday night sucks. Looking forward to it! Let me know.
