Skiing

I went cross country skiing today. First time in a number of years because often the snow does not last long enough down here on the flatlands. It was nice. A short run in the wilderness just wearing a sweater. Never wear a heavy coat when cross country skiing, you'll get too hot from the exercise. If you're going on a long trip take one along to wear if you have to stop. Along with the usual survival gear.

Argh, if I had a longer winter break, I'd head up I80 to Royal Gorge. It's been ages since I've been out XC skiing.

Around here, people cross-country ski on the streets if we get an inch or so!
