Well I just unsubed from all the groups about Denver. Lately the signal to noise ratio has gotten really high for me. Lots of people promoting their events in every single group and apparently none of the moderators care. Eh. So I unsubed from [livejournal.com profile] denver, [livejournal.com profile] denver_co, and [livejournal.com profile] denver_glbt. The most useful stuff in there were questions about Denver. Where do I find X? And the discussion would often mention interesting places. But the people promoting their events? Boooring. Maybe I'll go in search of a group for just questions at some point.

I dunno - I think it's interesting to see the posts in Denver.

The repetitive flyer type ones get to me. It wouldn't annoy me so much if the DJs posting about their mixing could use LJ cut, but apparently just like in the clubs they're the most important person in the universe and everyone needs to pay attention to them.

I had to unlist from denver for the same reason.

Sad fact of life. Unless moderators, you know, moderate, all newsgroups devolve into endless self-promotion and sales.
