Exhaused Con

Well here it is, Monday, and I have just now stopped. From Thursday until now it has been, "Go, go, go, we have a convention to put on. Dig that driveway, pick up that guest, arrange that ride, buy that food for the DASFA consuite sponsorship, attend panels, be on panels, chat, socialize, have dinner, swim, party, drink, sober up, take guests back to the airport, go to a movie, and finally come back to my boyfriend's." That is where I am now. And I am about ready to drop dead. It was a fun convention and all, but I need to come down. And then I swear I will do some fan writing about my experiences. Except for those parts which would read like a Jules Jones novel without the supernatural bits.

Sounds like you had fun, for certain values of fun.:-) Try not to do my usual trick, which is to get so sick at a con that by the time I've recovered enough to write a con report I've forgotten most of it.

I've not been posting in my Lj recently because of three things: don't really have the time, hiding from overpossessive people and participating in NaNo, but come the new year I'll be back in full force and hope to see more of you.

That'll teach me to reply too quickly. It was celtane who she wanted me to be friends with, he's relatively new to Denver and a gay geek. Not that I'd object to more friends from the wonderful isles. He doesn't have any posts for me to put a reply on or contact information so in desperation I searched for comments by him using google. Sorry for confusion.
