I've been reading a very naff (that means cool right? I'm kidding!) 'zine called "Zoo Nation". I received it in the mail on actual composed of dead trees paper from Pete Young. Very fun. Though also intimidating. At the rate I'm going I'm going to be lucky to get out my next issue of Miffed via email. Or have my website up as I promised earlier this month. Maybe I'll just spend the whole weekend doing that and chuck the idea of doing a Ice Cream Alternate repeat. Must email people tonight.

Also I'll have to send him a LoC about the whole thing.

Aargh! Yes you were: [livejournal.com profile] green_amber got a wholly gratuitous mention right at the end. I now owe you several drinks at Novacon, unless you get me drunk first. :-P

I know. I listed him as a friend a while back, all part of my insidious plan to befriend dozens of fans and take TAFF in 2005 no matter how many better qualified fans run for it. (At this point Snarky is saying something about me not being very clear on the concept of secret plans.) But I must send a LoC, somehow a livejournal post of comment doesn't seems quite right. Perhaps it will improve if I apply enough doublethink to it.

I'm in a mood today. A strange one.

Snarky has a point about the Secret plans. However, it's perfectly respectable for the villain to tell everyone his master plan in the expectation that they cannot then foil him, so that's ok.

Oh good, I was distracted by a jar of fireweed honey brought by the wonderful Rose back from her trip to Canada. So I doubt I could follow Snarky's plotting right now. Ooo shinny!

Glad you're enjoying it, it was fun to do. Still rather gobsmacked that Ted White recently reviewed it at eFanzines (http://www.efanzines.com/Fanzines/index.htm).

Woo hoo! I'll have to wander by there to see what he has to say. Someday I hope to be mocked as being unabashedly self promoting by Ted. <grin>

In other news I immediately recognized your sauce bottle on the cover of #3 as soon as I opened the packed of ,zines (about a week after I received them, we read no mail before its time). Very cool and I'm thinking up my LoC.
