Link Sausage
Sep. 21st, 2006 01:14 amI've got some comics you should be reading.
Shortpacked! I started reading because this comic about Frank Miller tickled my weird funny bone. I then read all the back issues, but I really, really liked the later storyline that starts here.
Narbonic is now free. You should all be reading it. I mean it. Mad science, cultural references, good art, the only tragedy is that it is ending soon.
Despite its name Get Medieval on livejournal is a sort of science fiction comic. The first comic starts with our characters fleeing an interstellar mob. Fun! Go read it. Wacky fun starts as soon as they land on a barbaric little backwater planet no one has ever heard of. It is quality from day one so I won't have to link to the comic where everything finally clicks and works. But you should also check out her temporarily on hiatus retelling of The Prince and the Pauper.
I also like Questionable Content. The art gets way better and here is a random example of the humor I love from it. An old joke made fun with a Dune ref!
Now for something animated.
Tim Curry performs 12 Books in 120 Seconds. A Lemony Snicket Flash Animation promoting the fact that the last book, #13, is coming out soon. And doing a really good job of it.
And the very not worksafe Sugar Baby Love. A fun public safety message.

Irregular Webcomic (http://www.irregularwebcomic.net/) isn't irregular at all, but is very funny.
