Thoughts Passing On The Way Home

I saw a falling star on my way home. It streaked out in front of me headed for the city, fairly big one to see it through a messy windshield and the orange glow of Denver. I also had a good scream on the way home. I opened up my window and howled like a wolf in winter and screamed like some unearthly beast. Things like that help a bit when I feel crazy.

I'm going to have a glass of milk with vodka and go to bed. I'm trying to get full nights of sleep despite all the worries about trying to get ready for the big party and the convention.

Oh and I got one sleeve sewn on my Hawaiian shirt. If I had tomorrow off and someone to mentor me I could finish it. But I don't have a day off, my mom has left the building, and Jane is pretty busy. C’est la vie.

I am determined to have my apartment clean by the end of the day tomorrow. It is a moral imperative.

"a glass of milk with vodka"?!? Now, I like vodka (and milk) as much as the next person, but that seems just ill-advised.

And honestly vodka and milk is good provided one doesn't put in so much vodka that it overwhelms the milk. Just a scant shot with a moderate sized glass. Sometimes I also add a little vanilla. Perfect when I can't do the sugar of adding honey to my milk.

Just $32 at the door. It's not bad for a whole weekend. I think it might be as little as $15 for one day. It starts at like 3pm on Friday.
