Dream Log: Gettysburg

That was actually a fairly interesting alternate history I had last night. Lee's men convinced him to try again at Gettysburg, a fourth day of fighting and I was on a hilltop overlooking the army. I had a very modern repeating riffle that I was using to shoot down the men in gray. And then there was this southron (sic) belle all begging me and saying what was I trying to do? And I replied to exterminate every Confederate from the earth. She said something about the white race and I threw her down with the soldiers and shot at her as well, though I don't think I hit her. I had this notion that if we got rid of them the south would then be populated with just blacks, though upon waking this was ridiculous because there were nearly as many loyalists in the south as there were rebels.

I think I had this dream because yesterday I read some conservative on about how the south wasn't that bad based upon a historically inaccurate movie (Gods and Generals).

Ha! Last night I dreamed that I was trying to put things right while Bush didn't notice. I had to sneak around a lot.
