Norwegan Meteorite?

This article says a very large Meteorite hit a remote part of Norway on Wednesday. I'm cautiously skeptical. I mean you'd think that science agencies would be rushing to make statements if it is true that it was comparable in size to Hiroshima. Then again it is a very, very remote area.

Aftenposten is usually a pretty reliable source.

A few points on the strength of the blast:

1. A meteorite wouldn't cause the flash that a nuke does, reducing the damage somewhat
2. The "explosion" caused by the meteorite would be at or very near ground-level; a nuke is exploded well above ground to increase the damage done

It's just that with something that apparently large you'd think their might be a few more news stories.
