Planning in the Short & Long Term

Yesterday I spent most of the day working on pages for my website. I'm cautiously optimistic I might have it up by end of the weekend. It will be utterly narcissistic and at least one page will have far too many pictures of me on it. Though the way it is shaping up now the rest of the page will be in my usual minimalist style. So good news there. Also due to lack of interest I'm going to scotch plans for another ice cream alternate this Saturday unless a whole bunch of people RSVP or otherwise indicate great interest.

Instead I will be helping my friend Rose trim trees and then I'll go party later on Saturday. I've no plans Sunday yet and I have next Wednesday off. Anyone interested in hanging out, shopping, going to a cheap movie, or anything else do let me know!

Lastly I need to decide if next year I'll be going to Minicon or to Gaylaxicon in April. Either way I'll be away from home for the weekend of my birthday. But that's cool. I can celebrate with my local friends when I get back or before I get back. I wonder if I should do a Dracula theme for the party this year. Hurm...

If you move to Minneapolis before next April, you can do Minicon and Gaylaxicon with just one round trip flight.

I'm pretty sure they are the same weekend, so unless you have a spare duplication machine about I think I have to choose just one. Try to meet a boyfriend and hang with the queers or hang out with all my Minneapolis friends. It's tough.
