Bingo. Someone recently described me as "the at home version of Dorothy Parker" and something about the description just clicked. He's right, I am rather like that. Black humor, at times vicious wit, though protective of friends. And I was totally flattered by the description too. Well as much as I can be flattered given my penchant for self depreciation.

Maybe I should start working on a body of quotes. <grin>

The other connection with Dorothy Parker that I always find so ... interesting is that my big sis says Ms. Parker is her favorite love poet. Hmmmm ...

I've not seen the movie, but I think I'd like to. I've never thought of Dorothy Parker as a love poet. Though I quite like dragon people like her.
