Dream Log: Owls and Boats

As I lay half asleep in the morning twilight I heard an owl. It called to me "Matth-Hew". And I fell again to dreaming that I was captain of a small vessel upon the sea looking for French ships to capture in the name of the king. Despite the size of my ship the French were very determined to stop me, sending a much larger vessel after me specifically. Very Hornblower sort of a dream.

There are always much larger forces bearing down on us in life. How did you know that they were out to find YOU specifically? Did it just seem like they were after only your little ship. Perhaps today your ship will slip anonymously away among others floating out there.
Then again, maybe they have some inkling that you are going to cause them a lot of trouble and second thoughts in the future! ..that you are someone who will be a force to be considered in the future.
As you slip into your thirtieth year on the planet, plan on a bigger command. Best wishes and Happy Birthday.
