Colorado Peach

Well I had a decent peach tonight. First of the Colorado peaches I've had this year. It wasn't quite everything that I wanted, though the first bite was very nice. The texture was perfect, soft and juicy. The problem was it was a bit bitter near the pit, though the rest of it was not bad. I'll have to see if the rest of the crop is any better, it could be just this particular tree was off or something. Usually I'd be going on at length about how much better Colorado peaches are than California peaches.
In other news I didn't get as much work done on Miffed as I would have liked tonight. I'll have to get in some entries tomorrow. The reason being is that I've been searching the net for shibby clothing. I felt like going shopping today, but I was disappointed by everything I saw over in Cherry Creek North (a shopping area with lots of haute shops in Denver). I'm not entirely sure what I am looking for either. I have the vague idea that I would like some new boots. Either something really outrageous with too many buckles or else something elf like. Something almost delicate, like the guy wearing them will be tiptoeing through a moss garden shortly.
Mostly when I go shopping it is by searching endlessly through thrifts and the Buffalo Exchange. The only men's store I know of locally that specializes in the stylish sort of clothing I like is Soul Haus next door to Buffalo Exchange on 13th Ave. The other places I've gone into end up just having endless racks of boring office wear. I like clothes with a sense of play about them! Odd materials, bright colors, and different cuts are the things that I'm interested in.
But I didn't end up buying anything but a book on Babbage that was on sale at Tattered Cover. Not happy with that, but it was an okay day.
